Privacy Policy

The DocNova Privacy Pledge

DocNova does not collect, save, store, transmit, process, or view your documents. Because all software operations are executed purely client-side inside your local browser memory buffer, we have zero access to your file data.

1. Zero Information Collection & Non-Upload Footprint

When you interact with the DocNova web interface, split PDFs, merge layouts, compress images, or use local machine-learning OCR systems, the operation is completely client-side. We do not transmit document content, metadata, structural mappings, passwords, or files to external storage.

Traditional PDF platforms utilize server-side scripts which temporarily or permanently save files to cloud disks. DocNova’s application structure renders this impossible by binding the compilation memory (WASM) to your sandbox CPU, ensuring zero external footprint.

2. No User Accounts, Credentials, or Profiles

DocNova is accessible globally without setting up accounts, email registrations, multi-factor logins, or profiles. There are no databases stored on our systems that map files back to individual users. Because there are no login databases, your work remains completely anonymous.

3. Complete Absence of Telemetry and Trackers

DocNova does not utilize Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, Facebook Pixels, or any third-party marketing scripts. We do not insert hidden tracking beacons or tracking cookies. We collect no device fingerprints, network IP addresses, browser agents, or performance telemetry packets.

4. Local Storage and Client Cache Isolation

To enhance your interface preferences, DocNova uses standard, sandboxed browser tools including:

  • localStorage: Purely used to remember your UI preference (Light/Dark mode) and selected language locale choices. No data stored here is sent over network links.
  • Service Workers: Used to download and pre-cache static site files (HTML, CSS, JS, manifest files, and WASM packages) to your browser's disk, allowing you to use DocNova offline without reconnecting to the internet.

5. Cookie Policy Alignment

DocNova does not use third-party cookies or advertising cookies. Our minimal use of first-party localStorage values is strictly for operational configuration (retaining interface choices). For a comprehensive breakdown of browser storage modules, please review our complete Cookie Policy.

6. GDPR and CCPA Compliance by Design

Because we do not store, retain, collect, or transmit any personal data, DocNova naturally conforms to the highest global data privacy frameworks (including GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA). Since we possess zero user data, there is no personal data for users to retrieve, rectify, delete, or limit—your device retains complete local custody of your records at all times.

7. Support Inquiries

If you have questions about the sandbox mechanics, open-source compliance, or local memory mapping processes, please read our technical About Page or reach our engineering support team directly at Contact & Support.
